A spectacular compact hair dryer, easy to hold while styling hair. My hair is course, with some waves around the back neckline. This hair dryer dries my hair within minutes of each large section of my hair. I mainly use the concentrator nozzle when drying my hair to get my hair straight. This hair dryer is 100% true to its description discussed in the About This Item for the product. This hair drier does the job of helping to maintain my Brazilian blowout, which is why I found this hair dryer […”comes with the ionic low noise technology, to reduce frizz and enhance shine, so that your hair will be ultra smooth…”] and price appealing. Don’t let the low-price fool you into thinking it might be a questionable product. I considered buying a hair dryer that was in the $200 range, but I wanted to try this hair dryer first and sold on its performance for quickly drying my hair and keeping my hair straight. This hair dryer while compact, is designed with some serious wattage,1800W. I will sweat a little during the short time using the hair dryer. I recently traveled, and this hair dryer folded nicely and did not take up much space in my suitcase. Be careful when using the hair dryer in the hot setting because it does blow pretty hot air. The last photo is the result of using the hair dryer only. After drying my hair, I will then use the flat iron to help curl the bottom of the hair and use hair oil for Brazilian blowout to add more shine. I estimate it took less than 10 minutes using hot and warm intermittently to dry all my hair and finishing drying my bags with the cool setting.

Seller accommodated my very specific request (5.0 out of 5 stars)

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this hair dryer as I’m always wary of these inexpensive brands I’ve never heard of, but I got it mainly because it was small and came with a diffuser. I’m new to diffusing so take what I say with a grain of salt, but while the dryer itself is great and the folding handle was really convenient, the diffuser just seemed too small. I don’t have a lot of hair, but I had to grab it to get a decent amount into the bowl and I did have some hair get caught up in the back as other reviewers mentioned, something I don’t think I would notice if I were just using the concentrator and not getting so close to my scalp. So I went looking for another diffuser that I could use with the same dryer, a difficult task given the style and connection mechanism, and then I noticed that some of the reviews on here showed much larger diffusers, which is also shown in the video on the product description. There didn’t seem to be a sudden change based on the dates of the reviews, so I went out on a limb and contacted the seller to ask if I could get the larger diffuser. They immediately shipped me a new dryer (even though I just wanted the diffuser), and I didn’t get tracking info but it came within a week. Sure enough, this one came with the larger diffuser I had seen in the reviews. My photos show the original small diffuser on the left with the large one on the right. From what I can tell, there was a design change at some point, though it’s unclear to me which is the newer version. I could imagine the company changing to the smaller diffuser to make it more travel-friendly. The concentrator is also different, and both connectors seem to be made of a different rougher (possibly cheaper?) plastic, which could explain why some people complain of melting, though I haven’t had that happen yet, and I’m not sure what other difference that material would make other than making it look less slick. The connections are also slightly different because I tried the larger diffuser on my original dryer and there was no magnetic connection, so it’s a good thing they sent me the whole new dryer. Finally, the grate on the back seems to have smaller openings as shown in my pictures of the boxes, so that could help with not getting hair sucked up. Long story short, I got one version, was disappointed, asked for another version, and the seller immediately accommodated me. If you care about the size of the diffuser, I’d suggest contacting the seller ahead of time to see if you can get the version you want. Otherwise, they’re both great, and I just gave the first one I got to my family member.
